Why do you want a film of your Caswell House wedding in Oxford?: We have been planning the wedding for two years now and everyone says it goes by in a blink of an eye, so we wanted to have the memory forever to be able to watch and share with family.
Why did you choose Marriage in Motion wedding videos to create your Caswell House wedding video?: We saw the video you did for charlotte and Julian and loved it from start to finish!
You guys? …What do you do?..How do you spend your days?..What’s important in life? etc etc: Jay – I’m a ladieswear coat buyer – I LOVE clothes.. shopping.. hence working in fashion! I am also a big foodie – Fashion Food Friends and Family!
Luke – Work in property commuting into London.. also a foodie who loves the gym!
The proposal? …Tell us everything (all the gushy details): It come after 9 (yes NINE) years!
It was a total surprise – Luke took me to the Cotswolds – where he had booked us to stay In a cottage (dormy house) that had a painting on the wall that said the sweetpea and the princess (I have always called him sweetpea.. every detail he had thought of)
That night he took me for dinner and said he forgot something – when I got back he had got the room all set up with a video recording the proposal.. roses/champagne etc.
Throughout the weekend he kept handing me envelopes – the morning after the proposal he handed me another which was for a night in another hotel – Foxton manor, it was the poshest experience I have ever had – also the most expensive sandwich at £35!
The following day he gave me my final envelope which was booking confirmation to take me to a wedding venue I had mentioned I liked but I was too emotional, I cried to the car park attendant who wished me congratulations so we saved that to another day!
Why did you choose a Caswell House wedding?: We wanted to get married in the Cotswolds as it was so special after getting engaged there.. also having been to only a handful of weddings our favourites were always destination weddings. The fact that Caswell House was corkage free was also a bonus!
What experience do you want to give to your guests at Caswell House?: Memorable – filled with drink food fun and laugher 🙂
