Do I need to pay a deposit?
A booking fee of £250 is required to secure the booking of your wedding video.

When will I need to pay the remaining balance for the wedding video?
At least 14 days prior to the wedding.

When will I receive my wedding videos?
We aim to have your wedding DVD's to you within three weeks after the wedding but this can be longer during busy periods (6 - 10 weeks).

Where are you based and how far are you willing to travel?
Marriage in Motion wedding videos is based in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire. We cover all areas of Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside, North Wales, Cumbria, West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester. Additional travel / accommodation expenses may be added to regions outside of these areas.

Are you insured?
Yes we have full public liability insurance.

How many songs can we choose for our wedding video?
We recommend you choose 7 of your favourite songs to be added at various points throughout the wedding video (not including the first dance selection).

Are you unobtrusive during the wedding ceremony?
Yes. We do not move during the wedding ceremony as this can be distracting. Most of the time people don't even notice the wedding videographer.

How is your appearance?
We dress smartly to appear like a guest.

Do we have to have a meeting?
This is not essential as all the finer details can be talked through over the phone or via email.

Will the prices alter once booked?
No. Your price will stay the same once booked, regardless of any price alterations over the months.

How is it possible to have more than one video camera with only one wedding videographer?
The key is to set up 1 or 2 static video cameras before the wedding ceremony. These are set to record different angles and sounds. They also act as a contingency in case of any problems.

Do you attend the wedding ceremony rehearsal?
Yes. It is essential that the church is viewed to determine the best angles and which positions are allowed. The wedding ceremony rehearsal is the best time for this. If it is not possible to attend the rehearsal then a meeting at the church can be rearranged to a more suitable date.

What type of events do you cover?
Marriage in Motion wedding videos can cover any type of wedding event. We can film any type of wedding including Asian Weddings, Jewish Weddings, Greek Weddings, Chinese Weddings, Indian Weddings, Sikh Weddings, Anglo/Asian Weddings, Civil Weddings and Civil Partnerships.

Do you give discounts for out of season weddings and midweek?
Yes. Weddings between Sunday (excl. bank holidays) - Thursday, and October - February receive a 10% discount off any wedding video package. Please contact us for availability and latest offers.

What time do you arrive on the day?
The wedding videographer must have at least an hour before the ceremony to set up the cameras and microphones. The videographer will also start taking footage of the interior and exterior of the wedding venue and guests arriving.

Can you send sample wedding DVD's out in the post?
If you are having problems watching the samples on the website or would like to see more work then recently completed DVDs can be sent out.

Can I order more copies?
Yes, you can order more wedding DVD copies at a cost of £20 each or 3 for £50.

What sort of equipment do you use?
We always use Sony HDV cameras and film in High Definitiion. Sound is taken through Rode and Sennheiser microphones and editing is achieved on state of the art non-linear editing software.
